As parents of a 6-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son, my wife Becky and I realized two things:

1. Sleep is optional.

2. All of us who have chosen to raise our families in this great state share the same goals:

• Safe schools for our children and grandchildren.
• Well-paid, high-quality teachers whom we trust.
• A quality support network for our senior citizens who have given so much asked so little.

Together, we can achieve these goals. I will continue to work tirelessly to ensure our success. Our families, children, grandchildren and seniors deserve no less!
